"GOTHIC GIRL" RISES STRAIGHT AT #8 ON GERMAN DAC SINGLES CHART!

On its first week the 69 Eyes’ "Gothic Girl" rises straight at #8 on German DAC Singles Top 20 chart (11.7.2000).
In Finland the single has now been 8 weeks on Singles TOP 20 (highest #10) and still continues there as #13; for a month in May/June "Gothic Girl" was the most played song in the biggest Finnish national radio station, Radiomafia.
A digipak version of the single will be released soon, including the CD-ROM video.

Meanwhile back in Gotham (or Gothsinki, as you wish…): the 69 Eyes has been now three weeks in the studio recording their new album. Released on Sept.25th through Roadrunner Records/Gaga Goodies the new album will be called "BLESSED BE…" and is produced like the single by Johnny Lee Michaels.

In August 10th – 15th the 69 Eyes will tour in Germany (see the dates elsewhere); outside the tour dates Jyrki can be seen in Cologne 8th-9th.
