New album ready!

The 69 EYES’ new album "BLESSED BE…" finally ready!!!
The album comes out in Finland in Sept.25th and through Roadrunner Records in Europe in Oct.23rd.

The album is recorded and produced by Johnny Lee Michaels at his Helsinki Underground Studios. A full studio report in here soon. Also in Sonic Seducer’s Sept. issue is a 69 studio report.

Charts news: "Gothic Girl" is still on both DAC Singles TOP 10 (#8 this week) and the Finnish Singles TOP 20 (#17); rumour tells that in Finland the single has soon sold enough to get GOLD...
Meanwhile, the "Gothic Girl" video is nominated as the best metal video in Jyrki Music Video Awards this weekend...

"First show for us for a long time; a perfect sweatty joint on Rehbernbarn. Turbonegro fan club people, tattooed ladies, Italian beauties, goths and Skeletor guys kept us awake all night: Hamburg really ROCKS!!!

"Cool show from us and some Doors ("Five to One") and Stooges ("I Wanna Be Your Dog") for the Goth+mix people.
Zeromancer is a fucking cool band btw!

Sat, Aug. 12: Hildesheim, M’era Luna Festival
"I NEVER seen this much Goths in my life!
Again a cool show from us to 4 000+ Goths.
Our signing session was stopped too early…Some sort of international 69 Eyes fan meeting took place as well...Marc Almond was amazing, Mission was great; met Mr.Hussey too, nice…
HIM was entertaining; it’s always a pleasure to drink with them…The Sisters: a spectacle of lights and smoke; shook Mr. Eldritch’s hand…
See you at M’era Luna next year again!!!"

"My favourite show of the tour: fucking goth ROCK!!!
My hero Nikki Sudden showed up to get some red wine from us.

Mon, Aug. 14: Stuttgart, Röhre
"Pretty close that we didn’t join the Heavenly band during the drive from Berlin to Stuttgart: a wheel of our night liner buss almost fell out - our guardian angel still loves us…

"The last show but definitely the best or really close to it!!!
Later on we end to the late night bar where I perform with some American band the Doors’ "Riders On the Storm" - perfect ending for this tour!!!"
Epilogue:
Jyrki flies to Rome next day only discover that Rome is full of pigrims (2.2 million!) but this couldn’t stop him: Christian from the 69 Eyes Italian fan club had arranged with Metal Massacre the small 69 party at Alcatraz Bar where Jyrki was playing some new 69 tracks from the upcoming album!
